On 9 November, audiences will be able to enjoy "Tosca" by Giacomo Puccini, "a masterpiece of Italian verismo, where intense lyricism blends with drama and heroic overtones, performed with the participation of distinguished guest artists."

On 16 November, the festival will feature "Adriana Lecouvreur" by Francesco Cilea, "a captivating story revealing the fascinating world of theatre, presented with soloists, orchestra, choir and ballet, alongside prestigious guest performers."

The festival continues on 23 November with "Lucia di Lammermoor" by Gaetano Donizetti, "a bel canto masterpiece that combines emotional intensity with the drama of a timeless love story."

On 28 November, the "Leonard Gala" will take place, dedicated to Romania's National Day, featuring an exceptional concert bringing together the opera's soloists and orchestra under the baton of maestro Andreas Schein.

The event is organised by the "Nae Leonard" National Theatre of Opera and Operetta Galati, with the support of Galati City Hall and the Galati Local Council.

The "Leonard" International Festival was launched in 2004 and is named after tenor Nae Leonard, born in Galati. Over the years, it has established itself as one of the most important lyrical events in south-eastern Romania, bringing together artists, conductors and directors from both Romania and abroad.
