National leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Ludovic Orban said Wednesday that he will participate in the meeting of the National Political Bureau of the party, but will request the convening notice.
"I will participate. Obviously, I will request the convening notice. If the documents are in accordance with the statutes and if there is a quorum for a meeting, I will chair the meeting," Orban said at Parliament Palace.
He added that he did not refuse to convene the Political Bureau.
"I do not agree with the statements saying I refused to convene the National Political Bureau. I did not refuse. The only thing I asked for was a discussion with the Prime Minister on the pick [for the position of minister health - editor's note], because my wish was to support a candidate by mutual agreement of the prime minister and the president of PNL," added Orban
