Bucharest General Mayor Nicusor Dan on Monday welcomed a delegation of the World Bank at the headquarters of the Bucharest City Hall (PMB) to discuss funding priority investment projects, with PMB to analyse the best solutions for accessing sources of financing necessary for modernisation projects.
Dan on Monday wrote in a social media post that the World Bank were interested in the development directions of Bucharest City and how they can contribute to accessing funds for the implementation of projects.
According to the mayor, the World Bank officials showed their willingness to support getting of reimbursable funds for investment in district heating infrastructure and public transport, modernisation of public transport, solving traffic problems by developing the traffic light system.
