Mihai Dimian on Tuesday took the oath of office as education minister at a ceremony held at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, in the presence of President Nicusor Dan.
Also attending the ceremony was Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan.
Rector of the Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava since 2024, Dimian previously coordinated, between 2012 and 2024, as vice-rector of this educational institution, the scientific research activity.
For ten years, between 2006 and 2016, Dimian was assistant professor/associate professor - PhD supervisor at Howard University, Washington DC, U.S.
