Minister of Development Cseke Attila announced on Thursday that the restoration of the Constanta Casino has been completed, and the impressive building can now be handed over to the Constanta City Hall and, by extension, to the public.
"The Constanta Casino has been restored, and we have completed the reception of the works. Soon, we will return this investment, this gem of Romania, to the local community, to the beneficiary - the City Hall of Constanta," Cseke Attila said in a video message.
The minister mentioned that the investment started in 2020 and was funded by the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration (MDLPA).
"We can now return to everyone, to all Romanians, to tourists, this architectural gem that is the Constanta Casino. It shows that when we all pull in the same direction, we are capable of wonderful things, and the Constanta Casino is a model in this regard. I hope everyone enjoys this gem, this architectural treasure, restored according to the original project, as our predecessors envisioned and built it. Let us all be proud of this value we have in Romania," the minister of Development concluded. AGERPRES
