The Ministry of Health stated on Monday that it is making constant efforts to adequately finance the National Vaccination Program and to purchase the vaccines necessary for the immunization of children.

According to the Ministry of Health, vaccination is the most effective prevention method, which saves lives and protects people from numerous diseases and disabilities.

"The vaccines included in the National Vaccination Calendar protect children against diseases such as hepatitis B, tuberculosis, tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type B infections, pneumococcal infections, measles, rubella and mumps. The Ministry of Health makes constant efforts to adequately finance the National Vaccination Program and to purchase the vaccines necessary for the immunization of children," the Ministry of Health states.

According to a centralization, on October 13, the stock situation was as follows: BCG vaccine - 258,166; Hepatitis B - 136,100; Hexacima - 387,544; Pneumococcal - 429,070; MMR - 241,548; Tetraxim - 187,139; Adacel - 178,129.
