We can start supporting over 6,600 families to fulfill their dream of having a child. And starting this year, we will use European funds to increase the number of beneficiaries," Manole stated in a video message on his Facebook page.

According to the substantiation note accompanying the budget rectification project, published on Monday by the Ministry of Finance, at the Ministry of Labor, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity, budget credits were supplemented by approximately 5.52 billion RON.

"It is proposed to allocate additional amounts, mainly for ensuring social assistance rights with the amount of 2.52 billion RON in commitment credits and budgetary credits and for supplementing transfers from the state budget to the state social insurance budget with the amount of 3.74 billion RON in commitment credits and budgetary credits," the cited document states.

At the end of April, the Government approved the continuation, also in 2025, of the Social Program of National Interest to Support Couples and Single People, to Increase the Birth Rate (IVF).
