"Being at the head of NATO was the honor of my life. I thank Secretary General Stoltenberg for his trust and friendship. Together, over the past five years, we have been through many difficult moments, but we have also shared many achievements with our remarkable team. As I move on to a new chapter, I look back with pride at the memorable time spent in the service of the most important Alliance in history," Geoana wrote on his Facebook page on Tuesday.
