Monday’s trading wraps up with gains at the Bucharest Stock Exchange

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday's trading session higher, with trading exceeding 77.55 million lei (15.25 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.34%, to 22,621.53 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, recorded an increase of 0.30%.

Also, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.35%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.26%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up by 0.45%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose by 0.55%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, stagnated, according to Agerpres.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 11.79 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - with 11.13 million lei, and those of Transgaz - 6.95 million lei.

At the same time, the best developments were recorded by the shares of Armatura (+14.41%), Compa (+10.90%) and Carbochim (+7.14%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Comelf (-14.85%), Promateris (-9.38%) and Bittnet Systems SA (-6.70%).
