MARe/The Museum of Recent Art presents, for the first time, starting Thursday, a part of its collection of international contemporary art, including exhibits of over 50 artists from 20 countries, among whom Giorgio de Chirico, Lucio Fontana, Antony Gormley, Bridget Riley and Richard Serra.

These artists have works that can also be found in the collections of the world's major museums, such as MoMA, Tate and Pompidou.

Titled 'All Our Todays,' the exhibition, curated by Flavia Frigeri and Ioana Iuna Serban, brings together over 60 works, exploring the dialogue between figurative and abstract art and inviting the public to discover the various ways in which artists have represented the idea of contemporaneity through their personal experiences and unique perspectives on the world, informs MARe.

"The exhibition is organised around thematic constellations, oscillating between abstract and figurative, which help viewers understand the multiple paths chosen by artists in exploring the self and the essence of art. Colour, form and the representation of subjects are essential in this exhibition, which invites to a profound emotional engagement with the works on display," says Dr. Flavia Frigeri.

The exhibition can be visited until May 25, and tickets can be purchased through the platform www.mare.ro.

The first week of the exhibition hosts two guided tours for the public, in which the curators will offer interpretative keys to the works on display - the first tour, in English, will be guided by Flavia Frigeri, PhD, on February 13, and the second one, on February 14, is presented by Ioana Iuna Serban.

These cultural-social projects will continue throughout the exhibition.

For six years, MARe / The Museum of Recent Art has hosted over 50 international and Romanian exhibitions, as well as numerous related events: concerts, theatre and contemporary dance performances, poetry evenings, film screenings and roundtable discussions.
