A new case of monkeypox was confirmed in Romania, the Ministry of Health informed on Monday, told Agerpres.
According to the quoted source, it is about a 44-year-old man from Bucharest.
"His state of health is good and he is in isolation," the ministry said.
Until now, 41 patients have been diagnosed with monkeypox in Romania.
According to the National Institute of Public Health (INSP), a total of six people were vaccinated against monkeypox.
