The 10th edition of the Traian Vuia International Inventions and Innovations Show in Timisoara, which takes place from June 13-15, brings in the current edition almost 300 inventions from the 22 fields established in the most select relevant salons in Europe.

The founder of the Society of Inventors from Banat (SIB), inventor Remi Radulescu, said on Thursday, for AGERPRES, that artificial intelligence (AI) is also present at the Show.

According to the inventor, the road from the invention to the goods on the market remains a long one and only up to 10% of these exhibits end up being utilized on a large scale, and these salons are excellent professional platforms for collaboration between inventors, which manage to bring together entrepreneurs, but also pupils and students, who should be inoculated with a passion for inventions and innovations.

This is the second edition of the Salon organized by the King Mihai I University of Life Sciences (USV) in Timisoara in collaboration with SIB, managing to bring to the event, for the first time, inventors from France, Italy and other countries of European Union.

One of the inventions present at the Traian Vuia Inventions and Innovations Show is a panoramic screen for the machines of the future, which uses artificial intelligence.

"Two years ago, we also started a strategic project in Romania, a living laboratory in which we experiment with AI how we can give our employees time for more creative activities. In this show we present active and passive safety systems, control of habitat and systems that help the driver both in driving and in making his life more pleasant only exists, but depending on the country and local legislation it can be put on the road or not, because it is not 100% safe. In Europe, it is estimated that the first car that will be released on the road commercially is the logistics one, maybe in five years", said Andrei Son, national innovation manager of a concern specialized in automotive.

The award ceremony of the winning exhibits of the current edition of the Timisoara Inventions and Innovations Show will take place on Saturday.
