A new monkeypox case has been confirmed in Romania, the Ministry of Health announced on Monday, told Agerpres.
It is about a 54-year-old man from Bucharest having been diagnosed with the disease.
His health is currently good and he is in isolation, according to the ministry.
So far, 42 patients have been diagnosed with monkeypox in Romania.
According to the National Institute of Public Health, a total of 10 people have been vaccinated against monkeypox.
