Romanian pair Monica Niculescu/Gabriela Ruse on Saturday qualified for the final of the doubles event at the WTA 125 tennis tournament in Angers, France, equipped with total prizes of 100,000 euros, after defeating the pair Quinn Gleason (US)/Kimberley Zimmermman (Belgium), 6-4, 6-2.
The top seeded sealed their victory after one hour and 23 minutes of playing.
Niculescu and Ruse won a cheque of 3,740 euros and 81 WTA points for reaching this far in the competition.
In the final, the Romanian pair will meet the winners of the match between Samantha Murray Shara/Eden Silva (UK) - Belinda Bencic/Celine Naef (Switzerland).
