Numismatic issue dedicated to 70 years since establishment of Court of International Commercial Arbitration

The National Bank of Romania (BNR) will put into circulation for numismatic purposes a silver coin dedicated to 70 years since the establishment of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration, told Agerpres.

According to a press release sent to AGERPRES, the coin will have a nominal value of 10 lei, a round shape, a 37 mm diametre, 31.103 grams and milled edge.

The coin obverse depicts the scales of justice and a gavel, the inscription 'ROMANIA' in an arc, the face value '10 LEI', the coat of arms of Romania and the year of issue '2023'.

The reverse shows the headquarters of the Bucharest-based Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania and the inscription '70 DE ANI DE LA INFIINTAREA CURTII DE ARBITRAJ COMERCIAL INTERNATIONAL'.

The silver coins, housed in transparent plastic capsules, will be accompanied by certificates of authenticity in Romanian, English and French. Each certificate of authenticity bears the signatures of the Governor and the Chief Cashier of the National Bank of Romania.

The maximum mintage is 5,000 silver coins.

The selling price for the silver coin, including the certificate of authenticity, is lei 440.00, VAT excluded.

The silver coins dedicated to 70 years since the establishment of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration are legal tender on the territory of Romania.

The coins will be put into circulation, for numismatic purposes, through the regional branches of the National Bank of Romania in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Iasi and Timisoara.
