Technology enthusiasts from the western part of the country are invited to participate in a dedicated hackathon, organized by the Students' Union of Oradea (USO), in collaboration with Make IT in Oradea and Steam Park, between April 11-13.
According to a press release from the University, the event will take place at the Oradea Science and Technology Park, bringing together young people who will work in teams to develop innovative solutions to real industry challenges.
HackathUSO is a 72-hour programming marathon where developers will test their creativity and technical skills, working under the guidance of IT mentors.
In addition to the competition, the event offers networking opportunities, interaction with professionals, and access to essential resources for project development.
"Through this hackathon, we aim to bring together students and young programmers who will have the chance to collaborate, learn from each other, and create digital solutions with a real impact. Oradea is thus becoming a reference point for innovation and technology," said project manager Vlad Brata, a member of the Students' Union of Oradea.
Registrations are open at usoradea.ro/hackathon. For those who register earlier, using the code "usoradea," the organisers offer a 25% discount on the participation fee.
