More than 100 exhibiting companies are presenting the latest IT and digital solutions for the business environment at the GoTech World 2025 expo-conference, taking place at the Romexpo Exhibition centre in Bucharest November 11-12.
From artificial intelligence and robotics applications, to cloud infrastructures and advanced cybersecurity platforms, this year's edition focuses on applied technology and its concrete impact in transforming organisations.
At the same time, the event is hosting the second edition of The Smart Home Summit, a concept dedicated to innovations that shape the future of smart homes and buildings.
"Over the two days, GoTech World becomes the convergence point for the business and technology community in the region, offering access to the latest trends and solutions that accelerate digital transformation. With more than 135 international and local speakers, 11 thematic stages and an extensive exhibition area, the event creates a space where ideas, solutions and technologies complement each other, generating concrete directions for efficiency and sustainable innovation in business," the organisers emphasise in a press release.
In addition to the dedicated exhibition area, GoTech World 2025 offers two days of content and experiences that connect innovation with the real needs of companies. Among the main international speakers of this edition is Fredrik Gran - the creator of the "Robot Cellist", who proposes a spectacular moment that explores the fusion of art and technology. His project reinterprets the cello through technology, transforming it into an instrument that goes beyond classical limits and opens up new forms of artistic expression. On the GoTech World stage, he will offer a spectacular moment, in the company of the Romanian quartet Symphactory Strings.
Alongside him, the main stage will also feature Danit Peleg - pioneer of 3D printed fashion, who will wear her own 3D clothing creations during the presentation, Kai Zenner - Head of Office and Digital Policy Adviser at the European Parliament, who will address topics such as Europe's digital resilience, or Hartmut Konig - CTO Central Europe at Adobe, who will talk about the impact of new technologies on the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence.
The second edition of The Smart Home Summit, a concept dedicated to technologies that transform homes and buildings into smart, sustainable and interconnected spaces, will also take place within GoTech World 2025. The event brings together professionals and companies from fields such as automation, energy, security, lighting and HVAC, offering an applied perspective on how innovation redefines the comfort and efficiency of modern spaces.
The second day of the event will be dedicated to concrete applications, through a series of workshops supported by the KNX Romania Association, an organisation formed by suppliers, integrators and designers that promote building automation applications that use the open KNX standard.
