Romanian sailor Ebru Bolat finishes 23rd out of 43 participants in the women's dinghy event after the nine races at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Ebru Bolat, who ranked 24th has failed to qualify for the medal race, scheduled for Tuesday (15:43). The 10th race was canceled due to unfavourable conditions.
The women's dinghy event usually schedules 10 races, after which the first ten finishers qualify for the medal race.
The Romanian sailor's best ranking was in the 4th race (she ranked 5th). The last sailor who caught the 10 final was Sarah Douglas, Canada, with 99 points, while Ebru Bolat totalled 158.
Ebru Bolat is the first woman sailor to represent Romania at the Olympic Games, after we had representatives in sailing, exclusively for men, at the 1980 and 1996 Olympic Games.
