Parliamentary election 2024/AEP: Voter turnout 23.37pct until 1.00 pm

By 1:00 pm, as many as 4,208,929 voters had voted in the parliamentary election on Sunday, representing 23.37% of the total number of people registered on the electoral lists, according to data provided in real time by the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP).

As many as 35,535 voters voted by using a mobile ballot box.

Of the 4,208,929 voters who voted by 1.00 pm, 303,189 voted abroad - 298,846 on additional lists and 4,227 by mail. Voting in the diaspora began on Saturday, at 7.00 am.

Among the counties with the highest voter turnout are: Olt - 26.11%, Arges - 25.57%, Mehedinti - 25.34%.

The counties with the lowest voter turnout are: Vaslui - 16.03%, Maramures - 17.72%, Caras-Severin - 18.11%.
