The Bucharest Students' Culture House announces the organization of the XXIXth edition of the "Fotogeografica" National Photography Salon.
Registrations can be made until July 31, online, on www.fotogeografica.ro, with works in the three sections of the contest: cultural heritage, natural landscape and wildlife, in the categories of pupils/students and open (without age limit), according to a press release sent to AGERPRES.
The judging of the works will take place between August 15 and 25, and the results will be announced on October 15, during the opening of the Fotogeografica 2025 Salon, which will take place at the National Library of Romania.
The exhibition with the most valuable works will be on view from October 15 to November 15.
At the same time, a series of complementary and related events will take place with themes in the fields of science, culture or sports, conferences and seminars, information and public awareness activities.
The composition of the jury is as follows:
* Cultural Heritage Section: Adela Lia Rusu, Codrin Anton, Grigore Roibu
* Landscape Section: Daniel Bălţat, Daniel Mîrlea, Gheorghe Popa
* Wildlife Section: Gabriel Şerban, Silviu Matei, Zoltan Gergely Nagy
* Honorary President: Cristian Lascu
Three prizes will be awarded, for each of the two sections, in each of the announced categories. These consist of thematic programs and camps (Romania Student Tour), workshops in protected areas.
''Photogeographica'' is one of the longest-running and most popular cultural events in Romania, promoting the values of natural and cultural heritage.
The project is carried out by the Bucharest Students' Culture House, under the aegis of the Ministry of Labor, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity, with the support of the National Library of Romania
