PM Ciolacu: I will propose the exclusion from the party of Crevedia mayor
The leader of the Social Democrats, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, announced Tuesday evening that he will propose to the PSD National Political Council that the mayor of Crevedia, Florin Petre, be excluded from the party, told Agerpres.
"I will propose the exclusion of the mayor of Crevedia in the next National Political Council meeting, at the end of the week. A mayor who 'didn't know' and who doesn't care about the tragedy the community that elected him is going through has no place in the PSD!," Ciolacu wrote on Facebook.
The mayor of Crevedia, Florin Petre, said on Tuesday that he did not know that the LPG station, where the explosions occurred, was still operating, after he was informed by the ISU three years ago that it had been closed, in his view guilty of the tragedy of Saturday night being ''the owner of the company."
