Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu sent on Sunday a message of congratulations to the French people on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic, stressing that both countries share the same democratic values, based on the ideas of liberty, equality and fraternity.
"Romania and France share the same democratic values based on the ideas of liberty, equality and fraternity. Today, on France Day, I congratulate the French people and wish them to keep these values alive in the centuries to come. Long live French-Romanian friendship! Long live France!," Ciolacu wrote in a post on his Facebook page.
