Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca had a meeting on Thursday, at Victoria Palace, with the representatives of the National Confederation for Women's Entrepreneurship (CONAF), the topics of discussion being measures for supporting the business environment, public policies targeted for several economic sectors, digitization and entrepreneurial education.
According to a Government press release, increasing digitization degree, for public institutions, in order to reduce bureaucracy for companies, as well as for Romanian entrepreneurs, in order to increase competitiveness and to streamline operating costs, was a topic of interest for both parties, Agerpres.ro informs.
Prime Minister Ciuca said that digitizing public administration and the economy is a priority for the Government, mentioning the recently adopted measures, namely expanding E-Factura (e-bill) and implementing the Cargo Radar project.
In the same context, the head of the Executive supported the CONAF proposal for mitigating inequality, by ensuring equitable gender representation in the Boards of companies where the state is majority shareholder.
