Prime Minister Viorica Dancila on Friday stated in Varna at the high-level meeting between Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece that she underscored the need to do more for Europe's energy security, especially through the diversification of the supply sources and acceleration of interconnections.

"I had the chance to reassess the status of the common projects in the area of transport infrastructure and energy infrastructure (...) I underscored the need to do more for Europe's energy security, especially through the diversification of the supply sources and acceleration of interconnections (...) In the transport field, I reaffirmed Romania's interest in setting up a working group, (...) to analyse the feasibility studies related to both the motorway and the building of new bridges over the Danube River, as in the case of Romanian and Bulgaria," Prime Minister Dancila told a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Bulgarian PM Boyko Borissov, Greek PM Alexis Tsipras, and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
