PNL leadership approves board to tackle merger by absorption of ALDE Party
The National Political Bureau of the National Liberal Party on Monday approved a board to negotiate the merger by absorption of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE) party.
"At today's meeting of the National Political Bureau of PNL, we approved the establishment of two boards to carry out talks over the merger by absorption of the ALDE Party by PNL," added Ciuca, the national leader of PNL.
In March 2022, the PNL leadership approved the merger with ALDE, a party founded by Calin Popescu Tariceanu, a former prime minister.
