The Polish officials are satisfied with the discussions at European Commission level about the rule of law in this country and are prepared to provide additional information on this topic, Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said after a joint press statement with his Romanian counterpart Teodor Melescanu.
"We are satisfied with the European Commission discussions on the rule of law in Poland. We believe everything was explained and the Court decision was accepted and we hope to conclude this chapter, but it is the duty of the other member states to decide now. However, if needed, we'll provide additional information concerning our rule of law. Again, I would like to underscore that, from our point of view, we are paying attention to all EU standards concerning the reform of the judicial system in Poland," Czaputowicz said.
