Politehnica Bucharest organises the second edition of the 'EURO POLITEHNICUS' international fair from 21 to 23 November, with dozens of institutes, universities, companies, start ups and independent inventors participating, showcasing various technologies ranging from environmental, medical and smart farming solutions to robotics, green energy and advanced digitalisation.
According to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Wednesday, the event will include awards for the best Romanian invention, for youth research and for innovation in health, IT and communications, agriculture and environment, as well as distinctions such as 'Youngest Inventor' and 'Woman Inventor of the Year'.
'At EURO POLITEHNICUS 2025 we aim to highlight not only the results of research but also the people behind them, researchers, inventors and young specialists, and to show that Romania has the capacity to innovate globally. Through these awards we are not only rewarding ideas but creating concrete opportunities,' said the rector of Politehnica Bucharest, Mihnea Costoiu, president of EURO POLITEHNICUS.
According to the organisers, the fair is an international stage for people who create.
'Some of the participants are established researchers, others are pupils or students at the beginning of their journey, but all bring solutions that can become implemented technologies. The fair provides exactly the space Romanian innovation needs, a place where research meets industry, where inventions gain visibility and can enter the real economic chain,' the press release reads.
