Prime minister Marcel Ciolacu ordered on Monday a control at national level regarding the fulfillment of the conditions for authorization, operation and exploitation of all fuel storage and sale facilities, LPG included, the government informs in a release.
The decision comes as a result of the Crevedia tragedy and aims to urgently identify situations involving risks related to public safety, agerpres reports.
Will participate in the control action the representatives of all public institutions that have legal powers in this regard: the State inspection for boiler control (ISCIR) and the National Company for Boilers Control (CNCIR) for the authorization and control of pressure installations, the Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU) for the operational safety of work points where fuel operations are carried out, the Territorial Labour Inspectorate (ITM) for compliance obligations regarding labor contracts, the National Environment Agency for compliance with environmental obligations, the Police for compliance with the legislation on public order and safety, the Romanian Road Authority (ARR) and the State Inspectorate for the Road Transport Control (ISCTR) for the authorization and control of transport tanks, the National Tax Administration Agency (ANAF) and Customs for compliance with fiscal obligations.
