Violence and aggression are not attributes of any democracy, said President Klaus Iohannis on Sunday, in the context of the assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump.
"I am appalled by the attack on former President Trump at his campaign rally. I wish him a speedy and full recovery. Violence and aggression are not attributes of any democracy. We stand by the American people," Iohannis wrote on X platform.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump was wounded in the ear on Saturday in an assassination attempt by shooting during an election rally in Pennsylvania.
