President Klaus Iohannis stated on Thursday that in the Centennial, the academic year started with interims both at the Education Ministry and Research Ministry.
The head of state participates in an event organised by the Polytechnics University of Bucharest celebrating 200 years since its establishment.
"This setting is definitely a suitable one in order to talk about the future of the Romanian education. There are present here many of those who had and I believe will have the responsibility to organise not only the academia, but the entire Romanian education. (...) And even if in the Centennial we started the academic year with interims, both at the Education Ministry and the Research Ministry, I am convinced that you are among those who want stability, coherence and vision in the next period," Iohannis conveyed to the attendees of the event
