Acting prime minister Catalin Predoiu on Sunday stated that he voted for a presidency that would strengthen Romania's role in the world and further develop Euro-Atlantic partnerships.
"I voted with jobs, investments, and the well-being of Romanian citizens in mind. I also voted for a presidency that would strengthen Romania's role in the world, in the European Union, and develop the Euro-Atlantic partnerships that Romania has. I voted for a presidency that would represent us with dignity in the world, that we would not be ashamed of, that we would all be proud of," said Catalin Predoiu, after voting at a polling station in the capital city, agerpres reports.
He urged all Romanian citizens to vote on Sunday.
"It is a turning point in our history. I urge them to participate calmly and to exercise their vote with legality and civility, in respect for other citizens, in respect for Romania," Predoiu underscored.
