President Nicusor Dan thanked on Wednesday to his US counterpart Donald Trump for the words he recently addressed to the Romanian people.
"Thank you Donald Trump for the very kind and powerful words regarding the Romanian people and for reaffirming the tremendous strength of the relationship between our two nations. I look forward to thanking you personally. In my press conference today I stressed how confident I am that through constant dialogue and close cooperation, we will continue to further fortify the Romanian-American strategic partnership, in the spirit of our shared values freedom, democracy, and collective security," the head of state wrote on X.
A few days ago, US President Donald Trump said that "the relationship with Romania is very good."
Donald Trump said: "I happen to like the Romanian people, I think they are great people, underscoring that "the relationship with Romania is very good, the relationship with Europe is very good."
