The price of eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables went up the most in November as compared to the previous month, but the prices of eggs and vegetables stood below those recorded in December 2015, show the data of the National Statistics Institute (INS) sent on Monday to agerpres.
Thus, as compared to October, the price of eggs increased by 6.63 pct in November, but are by almost 6 pct cheaper than the end of last year. At the same time, potatoes went up by 1.53 pct, but the price registered was by 3.32 pct below the one registered 11 months ago. Vegetables and canned vegetable also went up by 1.36 pct, but were cheaper in November 2016 than in December 2015 by 4.3 pct.
Fresh fruit prices increased by 2.83 pct in November as compared to October. In return, citric fruits cheapened, during the same period by 6.4 pct.
In the category of non-food products, one may note the price decrease of thermic energy and for services, the "other services" area cheapened the most, by almost 3 pct.
