Prince Radu participated on Friday in a military ceremony in the Military Cemetery in the town of Ĺambinowice (Poland), opened in 1870, where 2,606 Romanian soldiers are buried.
"His Royal Highness laid a wreath in memory of the Romanian soldiers, and then visited the museum opened in memory of the prisoners of war. Mrs. Anna Wickiewicz, the custodian of the museum, presented the prince and the Romanian delegation with the history of the military cemetery and the museum's documents", the Royal House informed on Friday.
His Royal Highness Prince Radu is visiting the Republic of Poland on Thursday and Friday, in the towns of Bydgoszcz, Miedzyrzecz, Wroclaw and Ĺambinowice.
On Thursday, His Royal Highness visited the '3rd NATO Signal Battalion', in the town of Bydgoszcz, the 17th Mechanized Brigade of Poland, in the town of Miedzyrzecz, the Logistics Battalion "King Carol II of Romania" and participated in a dinner offered in his honor by the organizers of the Silesia - Romania Business Forum.
