Romania's national team is on the 38th place in the rankings of the International Football Federation (FIFA), published on Thursday, after climbing five positions compared to last month.
The tricolors finished the League of Nations with two victories, 3-0 vs Kosovo (UEFA-imposed) and 4-1 vas Cyprus.
Romania started the year on the 45th place, and it occupied the lowest place in June, the 47th position.
The podium of the rankings is unchanged, with world champion Argentina in first place, followed by world vice-champion France and European champion Spain.
The last rankings of this year will be published on December 19.
