Romania exported in the first 11 months of 2017 meat and meat products worth 380.5 million euro, a value higher by 13 percent compared to the one recorded in the similar period of the previous year, according to the data centralised by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Meat and meat products imports accounted for 794.4 million euro, higher by 19.1 percent compared to those recorded between January-November 2016, thus, a deficit of approximately 414 million euro was recorded on this segment.In the first 11 months of 2017, Freight on Board (FOB) exports exceeded 58.147 billion euro and increased by 9.5 percent against 2016, while Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF) imports totalised 69.493 billion euro, increasing by 12.4 percent.
