Romania has already qualified nine boats in U23 European Rowing Championships's finals

Romania has already qualified in the finals nine boats out of the twelve participating in the Under-23 European Rowing Championships in Krefeld, Germany, following Saturday's races.

The crew of four female coxswains, composed of Ana-Maria Matran, Larisa-Andreea Bogdan, Manuela-Gabriela Lungu, Elena-Diana Suta and Rucsandra Ioana Bucsa, won the preliminary race consisting of two boats.

The four-oar boat with male helmsmen, formed by Gheorghe Morar, Eduard Angel Moldovan, Cristian-Vasile Nicoara, Andrei Hemen and Maria-Antonia Iancu, won the preliminary race in which three crews took part.

The women's double oars team, composed of Estera-Costina-Beatrice Vilceanu and Andreea Petras, ranked first in the preliminary race.

Andrei Mandrila and Claudiu Neamtu won the first round of the men's doubles event and qualified for the final.

The women's double rowing team, formed by Alexandra Ungureanu and Iulia-Liliana Balauca, ranked 2nd in the first series and qualified for the final.

Marius-Ionel Bodnar finished in 5th place (last) in the first series in men's single rowing (BM1x) and will perform in the requalifiers.

In men's double rowing, Costi-Daniel Neagoe and Marian Stefan Dunca finished third in the second series and will start in the requalifiers.

In the women's four-oar event, the crew composed of Daria-Ioana Dinulescu, Andreea-Fabiola Iorgovan, Valentina Amalia Azoitei and Alexandra-Cornelia Ionel won the preliminary race.

In the men's four oars, the crew made up of Sebastian Timis, Alexandru Gherasim, Andrei-Petrisor Axintoi and Iliuta-Leontin Nutescu ranked first in the first series and qualified for Final A.

The crew consisting of Dragos Valentin Peia, Andrei-Vlad-Robert Vatamaniuc, Ovidiu Cristian Badea and Ionut Pavel placed fourth in the second series in men's four oars and will evolve in the requalifiers.

At eight plus one female, the Romanian crew (Estera-Costina-Beatrice Vilceanu, Andreea Petras, Elena Silvia Mocanu, Georgelia Stoica, Ana-Maria Matran, Larisa-Andreea Bogdan, Manuela-Gabriela Lungu, Elena-Diana Suta, Rucsandra-Ioana Bucsa) won the preliminary race.

And the male crew of eight plus one (Constantin Emanuele Sterea, Gheorghe Scripcaru, Cristian-Vasile Nicoara, Alexandru Gherasim, Andrei-Petrisor Axintoi, Claudiu Neamtu, Andrei Mandrila, Iliuta-Leontin Nutescu, Maria-Antonia Iancu) won the preliminary race.
