A Romanian Air Force aircraft will land on Wednesday evening at 90 Air Transport Base Otopeni with 10 Palestinian patients from the Gaza Strip, seriously affected by the lack of access to adequate medical treatment, along with 28 family members, the Department for Emergency Situations announced, inform Agerpres.
According to the cited source, some of the patients are to receive specialized care in hospitals in Romania, while others will be transferred to Belgium, with an aircraft made available by the Kingdom of Norway.
The mission is coordinated by the Department for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in close collaboration with several national institutions and international bodies, essential for ensuring an efficient and safe operation.
