Romania won five medals at the European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships in Ganja

Romania won five medals, two gold and three silver, at the 2025 European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships category seniors in Ganja, Azerbaijan.

Leonard Manta won the continental men's individual title, scoring 20.150 points in the final, followed by Italian Davide Nacci, with 19.950 points, and Spaniard Miquel Mane, 19.800 points.

The other gold medal was won in the trio by Claudia Ristea, Leonard Manta and Daniel Tavoc, with 19.610 points, ahead of Bulgaria (19.410) and Italy (19.215).

Team Romania - Darius Branda, Leonard Manta, Claudia Ristea, Vladut Popa and Daniel Tavoc - won the silver medal in the group, with 19.510 points. Team Italy took first place (19.665 points) and team Hungary won the bronze medal (19.255).

Another silver medal for Romania went to Mara Dragomir, Claudia Ristea, Madalin Boldea, Darius Branda, Daniel Tavoc, Larisa Suiu, Antonio Surdu and Raisa Alexe in aerobic dance, with 17,300 points. Hungary won gold, with 17.800 points, and Italy took bronze (17.050).

Romania had won silver in the team event on Saturday.

Team Romania delegation was made up of Raisa Alexe, Melissa Farcuta, Larisa Suiu, Claudia Ristea, Mara Dragomir, Leonard Manta, Vladut Popa, Madalin Boldea, Daniel Tavoc, Antonio Surdu, Darius Branda, accompanied by coach Madalina Cioveie and physiotherapist Razvan Spirescu.
