The Romanian-Croatian pair made up of Victor Cornea and Nino Serdarusic qualified on Tuesday evening for the quarter finals of men's double at the challenger tennis tournament in Helsinki (Finland) - HPP Open ATP Challenger Tournament, with prizes worth 181,250 euro, after defeating French duo Arthur Reymond/Luca Sanchez, with a score of 7-6 (7/4), 6-4.
Cornea and his partner managed to win the event after one hour and 18 minutes.
Cornea and Serdarusic secured a cheque worth 1,840 euros and 25 ATP doubles points.
In the quarterfinals, the Romanian-Croatian pair will face off the winners of the event between Milos Karol (Slovakia)/Patrik Niklas-Salminen (Finland) and Joshua Paris/Marcus Willis (Great Britain), 2nd seeds.
