Following the designation of Agridrone Romania, a start-up specializing in agricultural drone dealership and counseling services, as sole importer of the products of Chinese drone maker DJI Agriculture, Romanian farmers will benefit from direct access to the latest models of agricultural drones, optimized to improve agricultural efficiency and productivity.

According to a release by Agridrone Romania, this strategic cooperation officially began on November 11, 2024 and will bring agricultural drone technology closer to Romanian farmers.

The agreement with DJI Agriculture, world leader in the production of agriculture drones, marks a significant step in Agridrone Romania's mission to transform the national agricultural sector through innovation and advanced technological solutions, the document notes.

"This cooperation allows us to bring the best agricultural technological solutions directly into the hands of our farmers, thus contributing to the sustainable and efficient development of Romanian agriculture," said Agridrone Romania director Victor Podgoreanu.

The company does no only sell DJI drones, but also offers full advisory and technical support services, thus ensuring that each customer benefits from the best experience and use of the products.

Globally, the agriculture drone industry is booming, with more than 300,000 such airborne machines treating more than 500 million hectares of agricultural land by mid-2024. The global agricultural drone market was valued at $4.98 billion in 2023 and is expected to grow from $6.11 billion in 2024 to $23.78 billion by 2032.
