The Romanian Naval Forces, with the naval dredger 30 Sublieutenant Alexandru Axente and staff officers, participate, between October 13 and 22, in the Breeze 23 multinational exercise, organized by the Bulgarian Naval Forces, in the Port of Varna, in the territorial waters of Bulgaria and in the international waters of the Black Sea.
According to a press release sent on Friday, naval and air capabilities from Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United States of America and Turkey, participate in the exercise, in order to develop multinational relations among the partner states, agerpres reports.
Through the participation of Romanian military sailors in the Breeze 23 multinational exercise, the Romanian Naval Forces significantly contribute to the strengthening of the defense capacity of NATO's eastern flank and to the improvement of security in the Black Sea region, the cited source says.
