The Romanian-Polish pair Alexandru Jecan/Szymon Kielan reached the semi-finals of the doubles event at the challenger tennis tournament in Porto (Porto challenger 2026) on Thursday, with prizes worth 203,900 euros, following a 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 victory over the pair made up of Romain Arneodo (Monaco)/Benjamin Kittay (US).
Jecan and Kielan defeated the 4th seeds after one hour and 22 minutes, agerpres reports.
Jecan and his partner secured a cheque worth 3,140 euros and 45 ATP doubles ranking points.
In the semi-finals, Jecan and Kielan will face off the duo made up of Stefan Latinovic (Serbia)/Mili Poljicak (Croatia).
