President Klaus Iohannis on Monday signed decrees recalling Romania's ambassadors to Uruguay, India, Bangladesh and Nepal as well as to the Netherlands.

According to the Presidential Administration, the head of state recalled Romania's ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Uruguay Ana Voicu; Romania's ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to India, Bangladesh and Nepal Daniela-Mariana Sezonov-Tane, and Romania's ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Netherlands Lucian Fatu.

Ana Voicu and Lucian Fatu were accredited as ambassadors in November 2020, and Daniela-Mariana Sezonov-Zane in January 2021.

Also, President Klaus Iohannis signed a decree accrediting Florin Talapan, Romania's ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Nigeria and Benin, also ambassador to Ghana, residing in Abuja. He was accredited ambassador Romania's to Nigeria, residing in Abuja, in November 2023. On July 22 2024, Iohannis signed a decree accrediting Talapan as ambassador to Benin, residing in Abuja.
