In a discussion on Monday in Budapest with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, interim Senate President Mircea Abrudean said that Romania's "commitment" to stability, reforms and the European course remains "as firm and relevant" as ever.
"Discussion with Mrs. Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, on the sidelines of the Budapest conference, about the situation in Romania, about the fact that the country is governed responsibly even in this complicated period. I reiterated that we are part of the great European family and that our commitment to stability, reforms and the European course remains as firm and relevant as ever," Abrudean wrote on Monday on Facebook.
