Romanian athlete Denisa Golgota qualified on Friday for the floor final at the 2025 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup in Szombathely, Hungary, after scoring the highest in qualifications with 13.400 points, Agerpres reports.
Anamaria Mihacescu will be the second reserve for the final on this apparatus, having ranked 10th in qualifications with 12.400 points.
The floor final will take place on Sunday.
In the balance beam qualifications, Denisa Golgota ranked 33rd (10.100), while Anamaria Mihacescu ranked 39th (8.400).
In vault qualifications, Anamaria Mihacescu ranked 11th with 12.800 points, while Denisa Golgota ranked 13th with 12.675.
At the uneven bars, Ella Cretu Oprea ranked 14th (11.750) and Anamaria Mihacescu ranked 17th (11.600).
The gymnasts are accompanied by coaches Corina Morosan and Florin Cotutiu, judge Ileana Hrisca and physiotherapist Tona Foti.
