Romanian duo Alexandru Jecan/Bogdan Pavel on Wednesday progressed to the men's doubles quarterfinals at the Istanbul Challenger tournament in Istanbul, prize money USD100,000 dollars, after a 7-5 7-5 wind against Turks Koray Kirci/S Mert Ozdemir.
The top seed Romanian duo prevailed in an hour and 19 minutes.
For their performance so far, they won USD 1,010 and 16 ATP doubles points.
In the quarterfinals, Jecan and Pavel will play Mexicans Alex Hernandez/Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez.
