Romanian tennis player Filip Cristian Jianu was defeated by Venezuela's Gonzalo Oliveira, 6-4 6-3, on Sunday, in the men's singles final of the Brazzaville Challenger tournament in Brazzaville, Congo, prize pool USD 41,000.
Top seed Jianu, 23, world number 214, did not lost a set until the final, but was defeated by fourth seed Oliviera, 29, world number 269, in an hour and 32 minutes.
For his performance, Jianu won USD 3,350 and 25 ATP singles points.
