Romanian gymnast Andrei Muntean won the bronze medal in the parallel bars final on Sunday, at the World Challenge Cup in artistic gymnastics in Koper, Slovenia.
He won 14.450 points, being surpassed in the final ranking by Ukrainian Ilya Kovtun, 15.350 points, and Taiwanese Hsi Hung Yuan, 14.900 points, according to the Romanian Gymnastics Federation.
Muntean had qualified second on Friday with 14.250 points.
He is the only representative of Romania qualified in the men's artistic gymnastics competition at the Olympic Games in Paris.
