A number of 200 people are expected to participate, between March 16 and 18, in the sixth edition of the Romanian-French Decentralised Cooperation Forum, an event in which the Brasov County Council will participate with the amount of 114,000 lei, from the county budget.
The amount represents almost half of the estimated budget of the event and will cover the meal expenses of the 150 participants from Romania and 50 from France.
The event takes place alternately in Romania and France, Agerpres.ro informs.
The topics to be discussed at the forum will be "Romania and France, Member States in the European Union," "From Covid 19 to Europe of Health: implications for local public authorities in Romania and France," "Recovery and resilience: objectives and priorities for the local public authorities in Romania and France" and "The European Green Pact: implications created for the local public authorities in Romania and France."
According to the documents approved by the county councilors, the event will be an opportunity to promote local initiatives, strengthen the network of existing partners and encourage the development of a new cooperation between Romania and France.
